Based in YYC.

Jake Rose is a Calgary based scenic designer. Their approach to design is centred around their appreciation for architecture and fine woodworking. Jake has worked with companies such as Sage Theatre, The Shakespeare Company, and Ghost River Theatre. They work closely with Calgary Young People’s Theatre doing scenic design and working as the shop manager for the CYPT Community Dreamshop, developing a new space for scenic construction and education. Jake has over 40 design and construction credits under their belt, and they hope to use that experience to inspire the next generation of designers and technicians to step into the theatre industry.

I also love backpacking in the outdoors, bartending, bad movies, and painting.
